Global History Colloquium

Vienna Global History Colloquium 2025: "Where is the Global?"
The Vienna Global History Group convenes a colloquium where we invite Vienna-based global historians to discuss their ongoing research projects. The presentations and discussions address the annual theme – Temporalities – as well as the following key questions:

– What is our own take on „the global“ and what part does the global perspective play in our research
– What are the archives of global history?
– How do we teach global history?
– How can a global historical perspective make an impact in present-day social and political debates?
